I'm a big fan of academic competitions, I feel they add so much value and enrichment for my students. In particular, the Global Leaders Championship hosted by Learnerchain each Easter is my favourite. With four key challenges across drama, business, debate and technology, the GLC offers a powerful mix of skills development and the added value offered through the Masterclasses and Keynote Speakers was fantastic! Our delegation travelled with Learnerchain to the NHS MUN in New York! The scale of the event is impressive, thousands of students from across the globe! I really appreciated having the Learnerchain team on hand to support our team throughout the committees, both via the online Diplomat Accelerator Course prior to travelling and the direct input of the team in New York. Perhaps the best help of all was the incredible media content the team produced throughout the event! The daily blogs and video content really kept the families back home engaged during the whole program, they really felt like they were there with their children!

Our team from Santa Maria del Valle had the honour of representing Honduras at the Global Leaders Championship 2025 edition! We not only won the Overall Runners Up Award but also we won first place in the Business Mastermind Challenge, hosted at the Gherkin Tower in London! For me the best part of our latest program with Learnerchain has to be all the grateful messages I received from all the families when we returned home! On top of that, we won the Virtual Gallery Showcase Award at the GLC 2025, in recognition for our virtual space our team built in the Metaverse!
