The Global Leaders Championship was created in response to the rapidly accelerating pace of change in the world today. As technology transforms industries and global issues become increasingly complex, students need more than just subject-specific knowledge. They must feel confident using a wide range of skills across different disciplines. The GLC is designed to build that confidence. Through four powerful challenges—the Business Mastermind, StarStage Quest, Virtual Reality Showcase, and Global Unity Debate—students develop creativity, adaptability, and leadership. They do not just prepare for the future; they are equipped to thrive in it. Thanks to its advanced learning approach and well-rounded structure, the Global Leaders Championship is the only student competition in the UK officially accredited by the British Council.

Business Mastermind:

Business Mastermind is a high-impact entrepreneurship challenge inspired by Shark Tank, where students work in teams to develop and pitch a business idea to real industry leaders. From creating an executive summary to presenting marketing strategies and financial projections, students experience the full startup journey. The challenge builds critical thinking, collaboration, and presentation skills—giving students the tools and confidence to turn ideas into action in the real world.

StarStage Quest:

StarStage Quest is a performance-based challenge where students create and perform their own original script on a professional theatre stage, complete with lighting, sound, and full production support. It is a powerful opportunity for students to express their ideas through drama, exploring real-world themes such as conflict, identity, or global challenges. By working as a team to write, rehearse, and bring their story to life, students develop confidence, creativity, and communication skills in a truly unforgettable setting.

Global Unity Debate:

Global Unity Debate is a dynamic team-based challenge that simulates a Model United Nations experience, where students represent countries to debate and negotiate solutions to pressing global issues. It encourages deep research, persuasive speaking, and strategic thinking as students learn to see the world from different perspectives. This challenge strengthens communication, diplomacy, and collaboration - preparing students to lead with empathy and clarity in an interconnected world.

Virtual Reality Showcase:

The Virtual Reality Showcase is a cutting-edge challenge that blends creativity, culture, and technology. In Phase 1, teams capture the spirit of their school and community through art—this can include photos, videos, paintings, or sculptures. At the same time, each team is assigned a random country to research and represent, creating a second gallery that reflects its culture and identity. In Phase 2, students bring both galleries to life in the metaverse using Spatial and Meta platforms. They can choose from pre-designed templates or build custom environments using the Creators Toolkit. Finally, in Phase 3, teams travel to the UK to present their virtual galleries live while wearing the MetaQuest 3 headset, offering a fully immersive experience for judges and peers. This challenge empowers students to tell meaningful stories across borders while developing skills in research, design, and digital innovation.
